- Heidelberg, Germany (Neckar river and castle)
The International Institute of Enterprise – Heidelberg (IIOE), based in Heidelberg, Germany, is an independent European think tank and training & advisory organisation dedicated to develop and promote concepts and practices for enterprise management & leadership that facilitate entrepreneurial value creation and sustainable enterprise development.

Juergen H. Daum
president and founder of the IIOE
“The current financial and economic crisis will change how enterprises will be managed in the future and what will be regarded as best practice in enterprise management: We will experience a new focus on entrepreneu- rial sustainability.
Those enterprises will profit from the crisis that do not just orient on short term profitability and cash flow, i.e. on the financials, but take a broader perspective including their long-term potential yield: i.e. all material and immaterial capabilities required to create sustainable customer and stakeholder value add and to maintain a strong competitive position and pricing power.
This requires to integrate financial management and customer and stakeholder value add management - in every decision and on all levels across the enterprise: it requires smart enterprise management, i.e. a more holistic control, mangement and leadership approach that helps to constantly optimize the trade-offs between having a short term impact in stakeholder markets and in building and maintaining long-term potential yield.”
